Liquid Spraying

A spray nozzle is a device with a precision orifice (or orifices) that is designed to break up liquid into a multitude of droplets, usually for the purpose of distributing liquid over an area, increasing liquid surface area, or concentrating liquid to create high impact force. Size, shape, velocity, and distribution of droplets determine a spray’s effectiveness.

Common spray patterns include: Full cone, hollow cone, solid stream, flat fan and mist or fog. Spray nozzles are categorized according to the energy input used to cause atomization (the breakup of the fluid into droplets.) Some examples are hydraulic, air atomised, rotary and ultrasonic sprays. Spray Nozzle is equipped and qualified to assist in any of these areas.
